As your wedding day draws near, everyone’s stress and excitement intensify. It drains your energy and that makes you look tired. If you’re feeling a lot a tension from all the preparation, well, you need to slow it down a bit!

If you want to look and feel good on your wedding day, you should know how to pamper yourself. Of course, a spa day with your mum or bridesmaids will be nice, but you can get the same relaxation at home.

Here’s how:

Throw an Epsom salts in your hot bath

Give in to a hot bath after a long day of wedding preparations. Sprinkle a decent amount of Epsom salt in your tub and soak in there until you feel relaxed. The Epsom salt can help ease your muscle pain. It can also reduce all the puffiness and bodily inflammation caused by stress. Just lay in there, try not to think of anything, and enjoy your personal time.

Juice fruits and vegetables and drink it

You don’t have to give up the food you want to eat in order to get a sexy figure. Simply give up the coffee, soda, artificial fruit juices, and other drinks with high sugar content. Swap it with a tall glass of fresh, natural fruit and vegetable juice from local juice bar or cafe. You can also invest in your own juicer, so you can start creating your own yummy combinations.

Unlike other brides who undergo crash diets before their big day, you switch to a healthier and more balanced diet. Juicing fresh fruits and veggies gives you the right vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that your body needs. Not to mention, a gulp of this all natural drink every day will keep you energetic, blooming, and fit.

Indulge in a nightly face mask

Make it a habit to use a face mask before you hit the sheets. Slather on an overnight mask after your nightly skincare routine. Let it sit while you enjoy a cup of tea.

Sheet masks that are soaked in essences work well too. Put it on and allow your skin to absorb the nutrients of the product for 15-20 mins.

Consider getting an eyelash extension

If you want to get fuller lashes before your wedding day, we suggest that you book an eyelash extension service a month before your big day. It will make your eyes stand out on your wedding day.

It is important to find the right salon for this job. A good lash extension will have the same lifespan as your natural eyelashes. It won’t look like terrible falsies too. For best results, avoid putting too much mascara and don’t skip your eyelash maintenance.

Finally, book a home massage for you and a friend

Spas are almost fully booked during weekends and after working hours. You can avoid the long queue if you book a home service massage. Go online and look up massage therapists who offer home services. You’ll be surprised at how competitive their rates are compared to the established spas near you. Plus, you don’t need to worry about travelling back home. You can head straight to bed once the massage session is over.

Tip: If you’re not comfortable with doing this alone, do it with a friend or with a close relative.

Every bride must learn how to relax and pamper herself if she wants to look and feel great on her wedding day. Don’t let the stress get you. After a tiring day of work and wedding preparations, seek for something that can soothe your muscles and can make your feel comfortable. It’s good for you.
